From the moment you write that first sentence of your story to the last line of text, as the writer you have an obligation to your readers.
Depending on the conceptual structure of your story as the writer you take the helm when it comes to informing your audience. Ask yourself these questions before you start writing:
Who is this story about?
What’s the main idea or set plot?
When is it ever right to assume the audience knows what you mean?
Where does the story take place in the beginning, middle, and end?
Why should you care about your audience and their connection to the story?
How can you push your writing to create a compelling story?
It’s fair to say that you will need to illustrate your story in a way that can be easily preserved, however, that doesn’t mean water the text down. Stay committed to your ideas. In the long run this will make for a better story that your readers will appreciate.
