  • Leevette Simpkins is a twenty-nine year old mother to a young black son. She has a degree in Criminal Justice and enjoys writing urban literature. She resides in Chicago, Illinois. While being at home after a health scare in 2019, she decided to start writing. It became an outlet for relieving her stress.

What inspires Leevette with her writing is it's all from her heart and creative mindset. While managing her title as Editor in Chief of her sister's black owned publishing company Envision and Wonder, she's able to help other authors achieve their dreams. When dedicating herself to a project, she doesn't stop until it's completed. Her near death experience influences her to live for the moment because tomorrow isn't promised.
